TeleCRM Alternatives: What to Compare Before You Switch Your Telecalling CRM
The five things that decide a move away from TeleCRM, a test table to use on any telecalling CRM, a shortlist described from each vendor's own site, and a one-week parallel test.
A TeleCRM alternative is worth switching to only if it does better on the five things your telecallers touch all day: call logging, enforced callbacks, WhatsApp setup, ad-lead speed and price as the team grows. This guide profiles LeadSquared, Kylas, NeoDove, Privyr and atomcrm.ai. Test two or three on those five, then run one on real leads for a week.
Every vendor here, TeleCRM included, is described only from its own website. No prices are quoted, because they change.
What TeleCRM is built around
TeleCRM calls itself telecalling CRM software. Its About page says it started from a garage in Aligarh, and that it was built because the CRMs its founders tried were not built around calling and WhatsApp. Its own site lists:
- Calling: a 1-click dialer, click-to-call from the web, and automatic call recording through an Android app that tracks calls made from the phone's SIM.
- Follow-ups: reminders, one-click callback scheduling and automatic lead distribution.
- WhatsApp: a browser extension that runs the CRM inside WhatsApp Web, plus the official WhatsApp Business API for templates, broadcasts and chatbots.
- Lead sources: Facebook, Excel upload, a custom API, and portals such as IndiaMART, Justdial, 99acres and MagicBricks.
- Reports: hour-by-hour, leaderboard, agent and custom reports.
- Pricing: plans listed per user, billed quarterly or annually. Check its current pricing page for figures.
If TeleCRM is working for your team, staying is a perfectly good answer. A switch costs weeks of retraining, so it should buy you something specific.
Why teams look for a TeleCRM alternative
Teams rarely switch over one missing button. They switch because the business changed, and none of these triggers is a fault in any one product:
- The team grew. Per-user and per-workspace pricing behave very differently at 15 telecallers than at 6.
- Callbacks keep slipping. Some owners want the CRM to refuse a stage change until a next-call date is set.
- WhatsApp moved to the centre. Do chats live on each person's phone, or in one shared inbox that stays when someone leaves?
- Ad spend went up. Once Meta ad spend runs into lakhs a month, owners want to know which ads bring qualified leads, not only which bring the most.
- The sale now ends in an appointment. Clinics, real estate and coaching teams need consultations, site visits or demo classes tracked.
Write down which one is yours before the first demo, so the demo answers it instead of becoming a tour.
What to test in a telecalling CRM: a side-by-side table
Use this on every vendor, including your current setup, since some gaps turn out to be a setting nobody switched on. Score each row 0 (no), 1 (with a workaround) or 2 (shown live).
| What to test | How to check it | A good answer |
|---|---|---|
| Call logging | Call a test lead from an Android phone, cut it at 20 seconds | Direction, outcome, duration and recording on the lead |
| Callback rule | Move a lead to "Interested" with no next-call date | The CRM asks for the date first |
| Overdue callbacks | Ask where yesterday's missed callbacks sit today | A visible overdue list, oldest first |
| Missed incoming calls | Ring a telecaller, let it go unanswered | Logged, ideally passed to the next person |
| Official API, WhatsApp Web, or both? | You know where chats live when someone leaves | |
| Lead-ad sync | Submit a test lead on your Meta form | Arrives in seconds, with a backfill for outages |
| Repeat enquiries | Enquire twice from one number | One lead, second enquiry recorded on it |
| Portal leads | Name your portals | Built in, or a clear API route |
| Pricing unit | Written quotes at today's and next year's headcount | Every add-on listed |
A 0 on anything your team does daily is a dealbreaker, whatever the total says.
Pricing unit: a worked example in rupees
Say a loan DSA office in Jaipur has 9 users today and plans for 14 from month seven. The numbers are invented to show the arithmetic, not any vendor's prices.
| Quote A: per user | Quote B: per workspace | |
|---|---|---|
| Price basis | ₹1,000 per user a month | ₹11,000 a month, up to 20 users |
| Months 1 to 6, 9 users | ₹9,000 a month | ₹11,000 a month |
| Months 7 to 12, 14 users | ₹14,000 a month | ₹11,000 a month |
| Year one, before GST | ₹1,38,000 | ₹1,32,000 |
| Year two at 14 users, before GST | ₹1,68,000 | ₹1,32,000 |
Quote A is ₹2,000 a month cheaper today. Over two years at the planned size, Quote B costs ₹42,000 less. But if the office stays at 9, Quote A wins by ₹48,000. The right model is the one that matches the headcount you will actually have.
Then add 18% GST, one-time fees and WhatsApp charges to both columns. Meta charges for most template messages on the official WhatsApp API, by message category, so ask each vendor how it passes those charges on, and check Meta's current WhatsApp pricing page. TeleCRM alternatives to shortlist
- LeadSquared. Describes itself as an AI CRM for sales, marketing, service and field teams, with a separate Field Operations product and a mobile CRM app. Consider it if you run a large team, or field staff alongside callers.
- Kylas. Based in Pune. Describes itself as a sales CRM for growing businesses and lists calling with real-time logging, inbuilt WhatsApp Business and pipeline management. Consider it if your sales move through deals in a pipeline.
- NeoDove. Based in Bengaluru. Describes itself as a dialer and telecalling CRM for small and medium businesses, with click-to-dial and campaign-based calling and integrations including Justdial and 99 Acres. Consider it if calling through lists is the core of your day.
- Privyr. Describes itself as a lead engagement system for mobile-first sales teams, with a mobile app and messaging from your existing WhatsApp Business number. Consider it if your salespeople work mostly from their own phones and message leads from your existing WhatsApp Business number.
- atomcrm.ai. An Indian CRM for teams that sell on the phone and WhatsApp. More below.
If a name here is already on your list, the comparison pages set atomcrm.ai against several of them row by row, including a TeleCRM and atomcrm.ai comparison.
Where atomcrm.ai fits and where it does not
atomcrm.ai is built for Indian teams that sell on the phone and WhatsApp: clinics, real estate, education, loans and insurance, car dealers and small businesses. It is hosted in India and priced per workspace in rupees with users included (Starter 3 users, Growth 15, Scale 100), with GST invoices. Against the test table:
- Calls: Call Pro, the Android app, logs every call on the lead with direction, outcome, duration and recording, and every recording play is logged. Missed incoming calls can pass to the next telecaller by rules.
- Callbacks: a stage can require a next-callback date or an appointment. The queue has Overdue, Due today, Upcoming and All pending tabs, with a reminder 15 minutes before each callback.
- WhatsApp: one team inbox on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API or Gupshup, each chat linked to its lead, with the 24-hour reply window shown.
- Ad leads: Meta lead ads arrive within seconds, and missed leads can be backfilled for up to 90 days.
- Repeat enquiries: matched on phone or email and recorded on the existing lead.
Here is how the telecalling CRM works, from the callback queue to Quick Update.
Best for: teams whose leads come from ads, websites and WhatsApp, where callbacks slip, and where the owner wants all three in one place.
Not the best fit if: your team carries iPhones and needs a phone app (the CRM is a responsive web app, and the only app is Call Pro for Android); you want a dialer that works through a list on its own; most leads come from IndiaMART, Justdial or property portals, which are not among its built-in lead sources; or telecallers want to keep working inside WhatsApp Web.
How to set up atomcrm.ai for a side-by-side test
Keep it small. You are testing the daily workflow, not migrating the business.
- Stages first. Copy your current stages. Mark the ones that need a next-callback date (Interested, Call back later) and the ones that need an appointment (Site visit booked). Put reasons like "Switch off" in Status, a separate label that does not change the stage.
- One ad source. Log in with Facebook, pick the ad account and page, and map one busy form to fields, source, starting stage and owner.
- One assignment rule. Round robin between two test telecallers, with a daily cap and a fallback person.
- Call Pro on both telecallers' Android phones, so every call lands on the lead.
- WhatsApp through the Cloud API or Gupshup, with your three most-used templates submitted to Meta early so they are approved before Monday. See how the WhatsApp inbox handles chats and templates.
- Open leads only. Import them by CSV with stage names spelled exactly as you created them, and remove duplicates in the sheet first, because the import does not check for repeat enquiries.
Running two telecalling CRMs in parallel for a week
Run the new CRM next to the old one, on real leads, with two telecallers, for five working days. One rule keeps it safe: every lead is called from one system only, so no customer gets two calls from your office.
Send one lead source to the new CRM. If that source can feed both systems during the week, let it, because seeing the same leads arrive in both is the cleanest test of capture. In the old system, assign that source's leads to a manager or a parked user for the week, so only the two test telecallers call them, from the new CRM. Everyone else stays on the current system.
| Day | What happens | What to write down |
|---|---|---|
| Friday before | Setup steps above | Setup hours, questions asked |
| Monday | Two telecallers work only the new CRM | Minutes from lead arrival to first call |
| Tuesday | Follow-ups booked through date-required stages | Callbacks booked against leads called |
| Wednesday | Day starts from the callback queue | Callbacks done on time, overdue |
| Thursday | WhatsApp follow-ups move to the shared inbox | Chats answered within 24 hours |
| Friday | Manager pulls the week's numbers from both | Time to build the report |
Each evening the two telecallers also note one thing they needed help with. That line says more about adoption than any feature list.
On Friday, switch if the new CRM scores better on the rows you picked and both telecallers would rather keep it. Stay if the numbers are level, because a switch that only matches what you have is all cost. And ask the telecallers last: on day two, everyone prefers the old screen.
Frequently asked questions
Do TeleCRM alternatives have a WhatsApp Web extension?
It varies, so check each vendor's own site. TeleCRM's site lists a browser extension that runs the CRM inside WhatsApp Web. atomcrm.ai has no extension: it uses a shared team inbox on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API or Gupshup, with each chat linked to its lead. If your telecallers work inside WhatsApp Web today, ask every vendor where chats live when a telecaller leaves.
How is TeleCRM priced?
Its pricing page lists plans per user per month, billed quarterly or annually, with WhatsApp API setup and chat sync shown as add-ons. Figures change, so check TeleCRM's current pricing page. When comparing, cost every quote at the headcount you expect in a year, then add GST, one-time fees and WhatsApp message charges.
Can I move my leads from TeleCRM to another CRM?
Ask your current vendor how an admin exports leads to CSV, and whether call history and recordings come along. In atomcrm.ai, each CSV takes up to 5,000 rows, every row needs a phone or an email, and source and stage are matched by name and each owner by their login email. Clean duplicates first, since a CSV import does not check for repeat enquiries.
Which is the best telecalling CRM in India?
There is no single answer. The best telecalling CRM for you scores 2 on the rows your team does daily: for a clinic that may be appointments and WhatsApp; for a loan DSA, portal leads and callbacks. Reviews, TeleCRM reviews included, show how other teams felt. This scorecard for picking a CRM and a week on your own leads show how yours will.
How long should a parallel test run?
Five working days usually covers a full callback cycle, since leads called on Monday come due again by Wednesday or Thursday. Pick a normal week, not a festival rush or a big launch, with two telecallers and one lead source. Longer tests tend to drift as people slip back to the old system.
Next step: compare side by side
Put your current CRM and one alternative through the test table, then try the alternative on your own leads. You can start a 14-day trial for ₹5, set it up with your own lead sources and stages, and run the week-long test yourself; after 14 days the plan you chose auto-debits, so decide before then. Or book a 20-minute demo and bring your stage list and one Meta form, so the walkthrough uses your process instead of a sample one.
